Chesapeake Ranch Estates has good freshwater lakes/ponds as well as Chesapeake Bay fishing. My favorite spot there has a freshwater lake on one side of a small 10MPH road and the bay on the other side! Walk back and forth and fish both at the same time!

Fish here 3-5 days/week. No one around usually after trout season fades around mid-late May. Many lily pads. Fish right across from Rose Barn on Pearce Mill Rd. There are lunkers galore in there.

Camping at Shenango Recreation Area camp site # 163. Channel directly behind site produced a 16 inch largemouth bass on Father's Day 2009 at 11:15 a.m. Great way to start Father's Day!
