Not a bad day on the pond. A little slow, but we did manage to catch 9 Largemouth Bass. 2 weighed 4.2 lbs. 1 weighed 3.4 lbs. A couple in the 2 lb range, and 4 in the 1 lb. range. Threw all sorts of stuff today, in many locations. Had most of our luck in the deepest hole in the pond. A 9 foot hole between 2 points. Senko worms did the trick, wacky style.

Went out with my brother at sunrise. It was a great morning, weather wise. I ended up catching 4 Largemouth, all about 1 1/2 pounds. My brother ended up catching 4 Largemouth also, and missed a nice chunk about 4 lbs. He also caught a pickeral that was fairly small. Keyed in on using anything chartreuse. I was actually trying to key in on the pikeral. We fished this pond a couple weeks ago, and my brother missed what was definately a 5-6 b. pickeral. Right up to the boat, and it cut his line. We have caught a few 3 1/3 lbers in here before, and this one was clearly "much" bigger. The following week, my brother went out with a friend here, and he lost another giant pickeral, not quite as big as the first one. So I figured I wanted in on the action. The pickeral absolutely love the chartruese color in this pond. Well, all I got was bass.....go figure. Still a good day out. Fish started out in that 3'-5' range, and by mid morning, they dropped to 12' range and were suspended. The bite slowed right down. No pictures taken on this trip. I only take pictures of fish in the 3+ lb. range.

My brother and I took our 14' aluminum out at sunrise. Winds were light out of the WNW, barometric pressure was approximately 29.75, and sky was mostly clear. This pond is very shallow, with a maximum depth of about 7', average depth is 4'. The bottom of this pond is silt and thick Eurasian Milfoil. In fact the town owns a machine that cuts the milfoil and dumps it on shore. If they didn't do this the pond would completely choke out. Fortunately though, the bass fishing is quite good. On this trip we didn't get any big ones, but we caught alot. About 30 bass total between the both of us. We texas rigged worms, no weights, and lots of scent which we felt was the key for the day. You can get bass boats in here, but more suited to smaller crafts. I've seen a few 6 pounders taken from this pond, and numerous 3 and 4 lbers. Good numbers of pickeral, crappie, and yellow perch. Fun place to go if you just want some steady action.

Was on the water by 5 am. Weather was perfect, light NNE winds, slight overcast, and cool about 60 degrees, and the barometric pressure was perfect. When we first arrived, alot of fish rising feeding on a hatch. The osprey were having a field day. Seemed like they caught more fish than me that day. Ended up with 5 fish, 1 smallie and 4 largemouths. The big fish of the day was a nice 4.0 lb'er, the rest were only about a pound each.
