Massabesic Shallow Cove
I went back to the beach I found the last time I came out to Massabesic. I caught a small bass on my first cast and another with the second. A heron flew in and didn't seem to mind me fishing right next to it. Five loons came through the cove too, but they didn't get as close. I landed four bass, but they were all pretty small. I did see one about two pounds swim by in front of me, but he ignored a jitterbug that went right over his head.
