ceviche Recipe for Blue Catfish

Title: ceviche

Servings: 5
Difficulty: Intermediate
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 1 1/2 hours
Ingredients: 1 large tomato chopped
1 onion chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons of cilantro minced
14 limes
1 lb of small raw devained and deshelled shrimp
2 lbs of fresh catfish fillets
2 pakages of milagro tostadas
bottle of ketchup
bottle of valintina hot sauce mild or extra hot
2 ripe avacados
Directions: Chop up the fish and shrimp to very small peaces. Put in a container and squeeze limes over to cover in juice. Put the container with lid in fridge and let it soak for 50 minutes. fish should be opaque and shrimp should be pink
if not set in fridge 20 more minutes.
Prepare the tomato and onion 30 minutes after fish was put in fridge mix with cilantro in a large bowl. Squeeze 1/2 a lime over mixture.
Drain the fish and shrimp remove all juice colander works best. Mix the fish with tomato mixture and serve on a tostada. Pour hot sauce over the fish and then a bit of ketchup over the hot sauce top with diced avacado and enjoy.
Other Notes: mexican stores have better limes and the hot
sauce and tostadas you need. the fish i recommend you catch.
